Inclusive Play Ltd: innovative and unique inclusive play equipment for public parks

Total Play Solutions are delighted to represent Inclusive Play Ltd as exclusive agents throughout Ireland for their new and unique range of inclusive playground equipment.

Inclusive Play Ltd was incorporated in april 2006 to facilitate the development of a range of outdoor childrens play equipment that focuses on the true sentiment of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).

Inclusive Play Ltd identified a growing demand for inclusive products that, whilst children with a broad spectrum of disabilities could use them, all other park users were attracted to the equipment and found it exciting and challenging. There was a need for products that broke down the social/physical barriers that are evident on play spaces throughout the UK today.

Working in conjunction with Napier University and Capability Scotland, an umbrella group for special needs organisations, Inclusive Play Ltd developed the following inclusive play equipment to meet DDA regulations and encourage inclusive play for all:

Exosphere - The Exosphere is designed to engage the users through dynamic movement, science and problem solving.

The central games on each side of the panel are independently interchangeable. This allows the unit to be updated frequently and easily. The games on the panel are accessed from both sides and can have contrasting, complimentary or competitive games.

Moonwalker - The Moonwalker roundabout revolves around a central point at a fixed angle. Users can lie on the dish and spin or be spun round or they can walk or run on the soft surface spinning the dish as they go.

Revolve - Revolve inclusive roundabout. This rotating bowl shaped roundabout can be used for gentle spinning as well as very fast dynamic play. Not only does the Revolve spin, it also rocks. This combined movement, coupled with the support and security offered by the deep bowl makes the Revolve very accessible to children of all abilities.

The wide rim allows for ease of transfer in and out of the bowl. It also increases the play value as children can sit on the rim and use it to propel themselves around.
