Emerald 15 is our top-of-the-range sand-filled artifical grass tennis surface. It is designed to give maximum enjoyment to players of all standards and a highly consistent medium-pace performance sustained over a long playing life.
Emerald 15 has a 15mm pile length and density of 44,000 stitches per square metre which ensures a maximum surface life whilst providing sustained playing performance and appearance.
The 'Thiolon Flex' yarn used in the surface increases wear resistance compared with standard polypropylene and reduces susceptibility to 'matting' and the 'speeding up' of the surface in later life.
The Emerald 15 surface is laid on a base of open-textured macadam to ensure free drainage.
