PolyTop is Ireland's first polymeric rubber surface to be fully tested and certified to meet the Sport England specifications for Type 4 Multi-Use Games Areas.
PolyTop has been developed to provide a surface that is ideal for the very different requirements of a wide variety of sports, such as soccer, basketball, tennis, netball, athletics and hockey. Few, if any, other surfaces can genuinely claim to cater adequately for such a variety of different activities.
PolyTop offers excellent playing characteristics in terms of ball-bounce, underfoot grip, player comfort, response to spin and all-weather availability, making it an ideal surface for coaching, recreational and competitive play in a wide variety of sports.
PolyTop consists of a continuous in-situ 12mm layer of porous rubber paved onto porous macadam by specialist paving machinery. The surface is then finished with a non-slip polymeric spray coat system.
The surface is tough and resilient, offering a longer life span than other synthetic surfaces, as well as being highly resistant to vandalism.
PolyTop is playable in virtually any weather, and also offers extremely low maintenance requirements.
